Here we go!

So, I've got the auction catalogue, booked the day off work, requested the legal packs and been on the hone to the loan company to get an idea of what they'll lend me. It all looks good so far. I've identified one 2 bedroom house, a 1 bedroom flat and a studio flat. They all look ok from the pictures but I've been on google street view to get a better idea and I've noted the viewing times from the schedule so will be off to see them next week. Oh, and I got my wife to call the local estate agents to check out what they would likely sell for. I think that's everything covered...

I'm a buy to let landlord. I got into this with my wife a few years ago and it's going ok. But now I want to expand. Expand to the point I can give up my tedious job in the Civil Service and concentrate on property full time. I'm doing this blog to both record my progress and, more importantly, in the hope that those who read it can offer advice, assistance and where needed, criticism. So welcome!
